Chrystal is registered as a Clinical Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS). She obtained a Bachelor of Psychological Science with honours from the University of Queensland followed by a Masters of Clinical Psychology at Griffith University.
Chrystal has experience across multiple settings including clinical, community, school, and hospital settings and she enjoys working with individuals across the lifespan. Through her clinical work, Chrystal endeavours to assist children, adolescents, adults and their families to build resilience and remain positive in the face of life’s challenges.
Her areas of interest and experience include anxiety, OCD, depression and emotional issues, social skills training, behavioural challenges and disorders, and parenting strategies. Chrystal believes in capitalising on individuals’ strengths and adopting a holistic approach involving family systems, other caregivers, and medical professionals in order to achieve the best outcomes. Chrystal works from frameworks including cognitive behaviour therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy.
Dr Laura Moon
Laura is registered as a Clinical Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia. She obtained a Bachelor of Psychological Science with first class honours and completed a Doctorate in Psychology (Clinical) at The University of Queensland. Laura has a passion for working with children and adolescents and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from her work with The Child Health Service and The Child and Youth Mental Health Service.
Dr Rachel Callaghan
Rachel is a registered Clinical Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and has a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Queensland University of Technology. She has worked in the mental health profession for close to 10 years working with adults and children.
Rachel brings a person-centred approach to her clinical work. She believes in understanding each person’s unique situation and providing evidence-based, best practice support to suit you. She is passionate about supporting everyone to achieve their personal goals for wellness and mental health.
We are also grateful for the wonderful administrative support provided by Laura who will often be the smiling face greeting you on arrival and answering your calls. Laura has joined the team part-time after recently completing her honours year of a Bachelor of Psychological Science at The University of Queensland.
We love working alongside Deanne who is a certified practicing member of Speech Pathology Australia. Deanne aims to maintain a high level of knowledge in the area of paediatric speech pathology. This involves meeting yearly professional development standards which are set by her professional association. She has training in numerous evidence based programs, including the Lidcombe Program for stuttering and the Hanen 'It Takes Two to Talk' program.
